Become a veterinarian

Start with undergraduate work that strengthens skills in your interest area and makes your professional school application stand out. Orientation and advising services are available to help students find a preprofessional study focus and explore career options.

A bachelor's degree is not required for admission to the College of Veterinary Medicine. Regardless of your major, pre-veterinary students should take rigorous coursework in science and communication in addition to required prerequisite courses.
